BETHANY KARLYN • MAKEUP

Bethany Karlyn has been leading the way in the art of makeup since 1986, when she began her career in her native Boston. Soon after she moved to New York City and then to Los Angeles, all the while developing an extensive portfolio of top-notch national and international magazine editorials and advertising campaigns.  

Bethany's work has graced the faces of Penelope Cruz, Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Salma Hayak, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Hudson, and Jessica Alba, to name a few.

Bethany's concentration and reputation in print media earned her a position with MAC Cosmetics from 1998 through 2000. As Director of Professional Support, Bethany acted as a media spokesperson, celebrity makeup artist and liaison to the professional makeup community. 

From 2006 to 2008, Bethany served as Artistic Director and Online Makeup Guru for Makeup Mondo, a web destination for professional makeup instruction and internet content for the beauty industry.
